Student Achievements

Axcel International School encourages our students to take part in external competition so that they can gain experience and continue to work hard to shine beyond academic excellence. Some highlights of our student accomplishments listed below:

  • Slam Your Poetry Competition – Kudos to our students Nikkita Koh, Low Wern She in winning 2nd prize and 3rd prize respectively; and, Sean Loh, Annitra, Khoo Zi Ming in winning consolation prizes Facebook link
  • International and National Sport Stacking Championship – Kudos to our students Nicole Yaw, Khoo Zi Ming and Khoo Zi Yie won champion, 5th place, 9 place in various categories of the competition. 🎇With Axcel International School encouragement and support in Nicole’s stacking journey, she has raised to become Top 3 Female Stacker in Malaysia and No. 33 in the world. She emerged as the 2nd runner up at Overall Female Category in WSSA Asian Qualifier Sport Stacking Championship.   • Intel Aspire Minds Innovation Space Challenge STEM 4.0 Workshop ITEX2019 – Our students won the 1st place for drone competition (secondary category) and 3rd place for drone competition (secondary category). Facebook link
  • Chess Competition – Liew Kang Zhen won 2nd prize Category Under Age14 Boys at 16th Malaysian Chess Festival 2019. Previously he also won the 4th place at 46th Selangor Open Challenger Chess Tournament.   • U18 Dodgeball Championship – 3rd Place for Girls Category
  • Beaver Computational Thinking Competition 2018 – 1 gold (top 1.6%), 1 silver(top 3.3%), 1 bronze( 10%) with another 9 honorable mention Facebook link
  • World Maths Day 2018 – Top 10 school in the world (2 categories); Student top 100 in the world (Loh Wern She)

  • Singing competition in China (China Hunan TV Station, Lets Sing Kids 张碧晨 Season 5) – Daryl Toh, represented Malaysia Facebook link

  • The Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition 2018 – In 2018, more than 12,000 young people from Commonwealth countries across the world participated. Congratulations to our students with few of them won the Silver and Bronze awards
  • Greenfield Teakwondo Malaysia Open Championship 2019 – Congratulations Tong Lik Xuen. He won gold medal in category Pattern (13-15 years old Grade 3-4)/span>
  • Asia Leadership Youth Camp – 4 of our year 10 students had selected for participation
  • Kuala Lumpur Engineering Science Fair (KLESF) – Merit Prize (Secondary category)
