Axcel Campus is honored of having Mr. Ko Chuan Zhen to run the mentoring sharing session with our students. In the session, Mr. Ko had shared two main topics on – Entrepreneurship and solar energy industry. Mr. Ko had attained remarkable achievement in his young age due to his exceptional personality and character.
Mr. Ko is the co-founder and executive director of Leaf Energy, a solar consultancy firm and +SOLAR, a solar EPC company based in Malaysia. He won the Star Outstanding Business Award (SOBA) Rising Star in 2015. Since winning the International APICTA Award 2008 Best of Tertiary Students Projects (Solar car cooling ventilation system), he has been passionately involved in the Solar Photovoltaic industry.
After the Feed-in-Tariff system launched in 2012, both Leaf Energy and +SOLAR have moved up the ladder as one of the leading Malaysia solar firms. Today, about 10% of Malaysia solar projects were contributed by +SOLAR’s group of energetic, young and passionate engineers. +SOLAR have involved and completed over 27 MWp in Malaysia, for few hundred residential houses, commercial green building project at Prime Minister Office, as well as the South East Asia’s largest solar carport power plant at KLIA.
Axcel Campus is committed to groom our students to be all-rounder both academically and beyond the school. The mentors essentially allows our students to stand on the shoulder of the giants for them to achieve their own success.
